This book of the missing is published by the International Red Cross (Familylinks) to help relatives to the thousands people unaccounted for Persons unaccounted for in connection with the conflict on the territory of Bosnia & Herzegovina. The web site contains 16 298 names as of July 11, 2005. We have subtracted 8000 names from the total count that deals explicitly with the massacres in Srebrenica in 1995. 8106 of those were published in a separate list that can be found in another article on this site.
