This memorial commemorates the victims of the attack on London´s transportation system on July 7 2004. The wikipedia uploader desscribes the memorial as follows:

Each of the 52 stainless steel columns represents a victim of the 7 July 2005 London bombings, and is inscribed with the date, time and location of the bomb which took their lives. The columns are arranged into four clusters representing the four different locations of the bombings. A plaque at the rear of the memorial lists the names of the victims in full.
The memorial was designed by architectural studio - Carmody Groake, and was unveiled on the fourth anniversary of the bombings - 7 July 2009.
